Gozo Christmas Villageor as it is popularly known as Bethlehem f'Ghajnsielemopens on Sunday 9 December 2018 at 3.30pm and remains open until Sunday 6 January 2019 8.00pm. This is the tenth edition of one of Malta's main attractions during the Christmas holidays.

Appropriately called "Bethlehem f'Għajnsielem", this life-size crib, constructed on 20,000 square metre (sqm) of fields on a stretch of land known as Ta' Passi, comes to life during the month of December with about 150 actors taking visitors back in time to Judea of 2000 years ago.

The 14th edition of Bethlehem f'Ghajnsielem has been inaugurated by Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri. The live nativity scene is spread over an area of 20,000 square metres, and seeks to replicate, the atmosphere and environs of Bethlehem at the time when Jesus Christ was born over 2000 years ago, with the help of around 100 volunteer actors to set the scene.
